My local coin dealer of for the past 26 years closed shop. I went looking for a new one and found Marine Coin Company. The shop is pretty neat in an old bank. The owner was friendly and prompt to everyone. Several other customers were there, so I imagine he has pretty good turnover on inventory. I was selling today, and they treated me friendly, fair, and reasonable. I'm looking forward to coming back to do some buying. I believe I have found my new go to coin dealer.
My father and I had a great experience here with Bill. He was honest and fair with my dad’s coin and silver collection sale and did a good job explaining the reasoning behind the pricing. He even stayed after normal work hours to price the items so I could travel back home the next day. We found his knowledge of the history of the items to be interesting as well. I highly recommend this business to anyone looking to buy or sell.
