Look, I get charging a fee for a consultation. But if you don't disclose that when someone calls and instead take their information to pass along, and then the next day that person gets a text, A TEXT, saying there's a fee to talk to the lawyer and here's a payment portal link.... Y'all, that's some scammy stuff right there. Be honest. Be upfront and say that when someone calls in. Don't be shady.
