Great location and nice pool. Rooms are all different though some renovated and some unrenovated. We were unlucky and got an unrenovated room that was dirty and very tired. Showers full of mould and have a look at photos of the dust and grime on the bedroom slatted sliding doors. The property manager is also hyper sensitive to any criticism (as you can see from the essay on the other review) and also rang after I posted review and had what can only be described as a meltdown/tantrum. We can consider ourselves regular visitors to Port Douglas, and have stayed in a number of apartments for couples.      Marina Terraces ,and in particular unit 10, is the most comfortable accommodation we have enjoyed, with a spacious living area and bedroom and a balcony with relaxing views over the pool and grounds. Air con in living and bedroom, though fan was sufficient for us. We've found that while they have everything you need, many apartments can be quite sterile, while this feels like home. We arrived early as we had asked for early check in and it was all organised at no extra charge and very easy picked up key from the lockbox and went to our room and found we had been upgraded to a two bedroom that was nice and big because there was a little bit of work going on next to nothing that we found would of bothered us anyway but the host went out of there way to make sure it didn’t and the host and lady doing the housekeeping were amazing nothing was to much The pool and BBQ area were spotless and two great BBQ an... read more

My third stay with this time having a group of friends join us in two other apartments. We all enjoyed the facilities as everything that you need on holidays is provided. Perfect location for walking to restaurants and the beach. Beautiful pool and outdoor facilities. We couldn’t have had a better time and the hosts, Michelle and Greg were hospitable and friendly. Thank you both. We will definitely be back.
