Beautiful self contained apartments. Walking distance to cafes, shops, restaurants, the beach and more! Beautiful private pool for guests as well as outdoor bbq/entertaining area with bar fridge. Michelle was super helpful throughout the booking process, couldn’t ask for more.
Great location and the room and amenities were just what we were looking for . The service was great and the owners couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. Thanks
My young family and I stayed here for a week in July. The location and pool/BBQ area were great, but Unit 5 is a very small two-bedroom apartment and sits above the managers, whose dogs barked regularly throughout the day. The floors were dirty on arrival, and after no solution was offered, I ended up cleaning them myself. We also found the management unapproachable, particularly when we were spoken to quite abruptly after storing our hired bikes in the wrong spot. We have thoroughly enjoyed our week at Marina Terraces. We stayed in Unit 10 and we thought it was absolutely perfect for what we required. The apartment is beautifully renovated to an excellent standard and we quickly felt like we were home. The managers are lovely and the general facilities are clean and inviting. The pool is warm and ideal for when the beach is a bit rough. Location is just perfect too. Easy walk to everything you need in Port Douglas. We will be back for sure.
Very poor experience. We were informed of a leak in our room via a letter on check-in. The leak stains indicated that it was not recent & they could have notified us weeks ago. As another reviewer has said, ask for room pictures & disclosures well before checking in. They also slugged us a $50 cleaning charge even though we left the kitchen clean & even ran the dishwasher.
