Two years of studying Lyme doesnt make anyone an expert. I would recomend finding an ILADS doc who is an actual doc instead of a phycologist with a certificate for "LLMD". Save your self some time, money and anguish and see a real doc who doesnt charge by the hour and actually cares about your health instead of you credit card. I literally sat in a waiting room for an hour and a half for my results and had to call while she was taking calls. If you need a abx pill mill without any care go see her!

We flew cross country to seek treatment from Dr. Makous for Lyme Diseaae. She spent 2.5 hours with us, did a full exam and ordered blood work that even Mayo overlooked. We are already in motion to get a treatment plan in place. She has a great bedside manner and is an empathetic listener. For the first time in almost 4 years, I have hope that I can get better.

My daughter is doing so much better under her care. Her personality is starting to shine through and I’m forever grateful for Dr M. I can’t thank her enough! She really spends her time doing a thorough exam and will order the appropriate testing. She is an amazing listener, investigator and is genuine about wanting to help you get better! Thank you so much Dr M.

Dr. Marina Makous is far more interested in making big money off of people suffering from Lyme Disease than helping them fight their affliction. She tried to rip me off for more than $1,700 for three office visits and never produced a "treatment plan" as she promised in writing before we first met. I do not recommend her for anyone who is seeking coherent and effective treatment for Lyme. It's quite clear that she is a doctor who's first interest is making money off of very sick people. Lyme sufferers BEWARE!!!!!!
