If you’ve struggled truly connecting and vibing with a PCP in New York then come here. Everyone who works there is so nice and Kuperman did not push birth control onto me when I talk about possible hormonal issues. She actually listened to me. So glad I found this place!
I have been seeing Dr Kuperman for several years. She is both my Primary Care Physician and Gynecologist. Her approach is very professional and respectful. At the same time, she always takes time to listen carefully and address all my concerns.
Was the only doctor in NYC who would test me for lyme disease, which I ended up having. Has excellent bedside manner and listens to every concern a patient may have. Going to the doctor in nyc hasn't been a very good experience for me since moving here 5 years ago, but Dr. Kuperman has shown me kindness and validation. Thank you for everything you do!
Admitted it looked like I had a hormone imbalance, but refused to test hormones or further explore PCOS. Kept telling me to get laser hair removal. Saw I had a cyst over 7cm, never discussed surgery or torsion. Said "If I'm lucky enough to have a c-section one day they might remove it"...not sure how lucky I'd be in that scenario. Now I'm recovering from emergency surgery because of ovarian torsion from that cyst.
