The salesman told me everything I wanted to hear. Then the installers showed up...and told me a completely different story. Suddenly I had to argue and negotiate all over again. Turns out the installers were a THIRD PARTY...who showed up in a rusted-out, unmarked van. The installation was sloppy and careless. They showed up morning after snow (I shoveled before they arrived) without a drop cloth. I put towels down. It was cold out so the carpet didn’t bend well. It was not covered in plastic. They severely scratched my moldings around my doors bringing carpet in. They took two smalls chunks out of my bifold door in basement where the metal strip goes.
