The facility is well designed and accessible. However, some people apparently need proper training in how to back up to launch or retrieve their boats. Long term relationships are the most amusing to observe.
I use Morelli Park mostly to pull my kayak out of the water and scrape all the frog eggs that acquire on the bottom of it from my kayak sitting in the water all the time. So being able to pull it out at Morelli instead of at the marina where I'm at is so much more convenient.
Simple boat launch in Downtown Stockton. Fun place to fish and magnet fish.
