Our family did a pontoon rental this past weekend for two hours as part of a 90th birthday celebration. We were pleased that it was possible to do and satisfied with the quoted price when we made the reservation. However, when it came time to pay for our afternoon outing, the price turned out to be over $225 more, including a tip that in our opinion was NOT earned. The marina here has a lot of options and they have really nice staff. I will tell you that the $9 they charge you per gallon for fuel is absolutely criminal and their excuse is that they're the cheapest fuel on the lake but I responded that being the cheapest in a price gouging economy is still wrong. That being said, again, the quality of their staff and their watercraft is exceptional but be prepared to pay for every little thing and to pay far more than what is the national affair average.
