I cannot recommend Marin Memorial Services enough. Captain Ron and crew member Jim were upmost professionals. As soon as you board the Blue Runner, they go over safety instructions (lifeboat, life vest information). Then they let you know what to expect when it’s time to say goodbye to your loved one. They are friendly but seem to know when you need privacy. I was emotional before scattering my mother’s ashes, but felt at peace afterward, so we had a great conversation with Jim. We were very pleased with our entire experience. Todd, owner of the Blue runner, was really clear with instructions over the phone, Captain Ron’s smooth navigating and Jim, who led us through the process with genuine kindness. The boat was spacious (we were sixteen), really clean and very easy to find in the marina. Parking was abundant. Our family is thankful we were able to fulfill our dad’s wishes and enjoy the outing too.
Highly recommend using this company when seeking a boat chartering company to help spread your loved ones ashes in the bay. They're professional, informative and made the ceremony memorable for my family and I .
