We completed two rounds of IVF through this clinic and unfortunately did not have a positive experience. We felt there was very little personalized care or attention given to our specific medical needs throughout the process. Communication was often lacking, and our concerns did not seem to be taken seriously. Marin Fertility Center is like no other. We did four egg retrievals there and are grateful for the care and concern they provide. Having visited one of the larger clinics, where we felt like a number, we appreciate the individualized care MFC provides. Dr. Uzelac has created a unicorn in the fertility clinic world. They get to know their patients — you are a person to them, not a number. The staff, from office personnel to the nurses, treat you with care and empathy. We went for a very expensive consultation regarding IVF. We expected that we were paying that premium for an ObGyn with a Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility Fellowship. It's a 3 year fellowship. It turns out the ObGyn we saw, Dr Brotherton, didn't do a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology which makes it very misleading to work in an IVF clinic. We essentially paid a very high price to see a regular obgyn.
