Schon leicht frustriert über alle Weingüter, bei denen man ohne Reservation schon gar nicht aufs Gelände kommt. Zufällig bei Marimar Estate Vineyards auf unserer Reise im Juni 25 noch vorbeigefahren, was wir bis heute nicht bereuen! Wir sitzen bei einer Flasche Chardonnay und lassen den freundlichen Empfang, die herrliche Verköstigung mit Erklärungen vom Kellermeister revue passieren. Always amazing when you can share passion with Spaniards. If you’re lucky to meet Marimar, she has so many incredible stories to share. Chico is a cute furry dog which makes our day better. Loved La Masía Chardonnay.

First class service in a gorgeous setting! Olivia, our amazing host was attentive and expert as she guided us through a flight of Rose, Godello, Chardonnay, Pinot and finally Tempranillo. She was incredibly knowledgeable about each wine and explained the history of the vineyard in Graton dating back to 1975. The Catalonia history of the family is represented inside the tasting room with fascinating photos of the Marimar and her family. Outside on the day we went, the weather was perfect and the views amazing.

Popped in randomly. Could not have been nicer. Delicious deep Pinot noir. Incredible backstory that made the feminist in me beam with pride. A must try! Book the lunches in advance - you won’t be disappointed! Wow!
