She is very caring, listens very well, and takes time to answer all my questions. She spends a lot of time explaining medications and explains their mechanisms and how they might affect you. I am in the AIOP program at MedStar and the care I am receiving from her is excellent. Dr. Jimenez has even went out of her way to communicate with my other psychiatrist outside of my AIOP program to make sure that they are on the same page in terms of my treatment.

I have been seeing Dr. Jimenez for over 10 years. She is responsive, cares about the whole person, and does listen. Yes, your appointment may not start on time but she allocates all the time you need. I find her caring, compassionate, and understanding to the whole person.

Slowest response for getting refills. Doctor runs late then rushes you. Doesn’t review your chart regularly so has no idea what meds and doses you have tried. Discharged a patient from the hospital without giving current prescriptions, after changing them during a two week hospitalization. When requested, they said “go back to your old ones this week while doctor is away.” Pharmacy we use remarks on how unresponsive this practice is for refill requests. If you have mental health problem this psychiatrist is the worst person to go to. I won’t even give her a 1 star she more concern about filling out a form for my job than my mental issues. She unprofessional when I left she more concern with her patients waiting than my issues. She not compassionate. I will never recommend this psychiatrist to anyone who has mental issues.Now I understand why she has a low rate review. This lady will basically rob you if you pay out of pocket. She charged me for a 115 dollar psychotherapy session during my normal psychiatry meeting to discuss my medications. We spoke for barely 20 minutes and I was not under any impression that i was going in for therapy. Normally, therapy will last an hour and the conversation is meaningful which was not the case at all during my visit.
