My Grandparents use to own a cabin at loon lake, which was sold about 10 years ago. My family and I recently went up to visit the cabin and we stayed at Marigold Resort. It was great experience. The location and resort were amazing. The RV we stayed in could use some updating but its an old RV and i didn't expect perfection. Eddie and Christine were warm and welcoming. They were very helpful and lovely to deal with. We loved it so much we have already booked to come back next year!
Great fishing cabins, super clean bathrooms/showers, friendly helpful owners/hosts, and on a great lake. Giving it a full 5 stars as it is exactly whats advertised!
We Stayed at Marigold this past weekend (May 29-June 1 2025) and here I will give my Honest review: We arrived a bit early before check in and met with the Owners, After learning RV 9 is not waterfront anymore (still shows on Website as water view/front and as was the map that got removed in the spring according to the owner, We booked March 6th 2025). I booked for our family of 20 several cabins one year in advance. A couple days after putting deposit down we were told we got double booked for one of our cabins so we arranged to stay in another cabin on site with no bathroom (not ideal but doable). THEN 2 months before our stay I was told I was double booked for SEVERAL cabins and they can no longer accommodate us. We were offered another resort with cabins that had shared bathrooms and no toilets. Se are now left with no accommodation.
Had a fun time with our family at the Marigold. The cabin we stayed in was a small cozy cabin and very clean. The lake was nice and quiet as it was end of season. Christine and Eddie are lovely!! Looking forward to coming back!
