Excellent stay at Marigold Cottage. We were lucky to snap up a few nights due to last minute cancellations. The kids loved it. The location right behind the shops was fantastic and despite its central location it was very quiet. We shut the gate and the kids loved the freedom of playing safely in the yard and gardens. Wish we had the time to stay longer
Large house and could do with some repairs to fan switches and electric sockets and front door deadlock. However lots of room for a group and full laundry and heating. Aircon for summer. Centrally located in Berry which is really a bonus.
Location, location, location! Right at the back of the Berry shops, but surrounded by the beautiful a gorgeous garden (love the smell of jasmine wafting through the air), Marigold cottage is a beautifully simple way to remember what we loved about 80s design and decor. Cassettes? Check. 4:3 CRT TV? Check. Cow themed trinkets? Check! The hosts kindly left a pancake shake, maple syrup, the makings for toast, spreads and cereals - thoughtful and generous.
