Another East County Favorite You know it's good when it packed every night. Authentic Mexican food with good service. Everything is yummy here and reasonably priced. A good size restaurant as well.
Really good food The food at this mexican restaurant is very good- service was a little slower than we like, but they were really busy, so we understood. The place is really dark inside, and I did see trash on the floor, but again, they were really busy. The bathrooms were clean, and all of our needs were met. The staff was friendly.

Marietas is a local stomping ground for locals who love good mexican food.Their service is great too and parking is always easy. Prices are in the normal range. Great Food! This restuarant has great food, and the staff always keeps pur drinks refilled with a smile. It is a very family friendly environment and our kids are kept happy with ymmy chips and crayons until the food arrives. Try the chimichangas!
Took them 3 tries to get my order right. My taco was too greasy and broken on arrival. The beef enchilada was unremarkable. My granddaughter thinks Taco Bell has better Mexican food.
The food is out of this world. The service is awesome. I highly recommend. Marietas East.
I usually go to all the marietas depending on the area im in in east county; however, el cajon has the best ceviche and quacamole dip! Over all the food is great! and the margaritas are very tasty and strong!
