It's an old place where the locals seem to go and the service is quick and friendly. The menu is somewhat limited and the food was fairly bland.
Great European food. I have been going to this place since it's inception. I used to live in the neighborhood and now live in Akron which is a 35 minute drive and I still go there a minimum of once a month. The sisters who run it are great people and serve great food. The viener schnitzel, city chicken and cevapi are a must.
Maria's is a small ethnic restaurant with some quality eastern European food. I was hoping for chicken paprikash, but it is only available on Tuesdays, so I had the beef goulash. I also had a nice salad, served with a generous amount of bread and butter. I prefer a thicker gravy but the flavor was nice and the staff was very friendly and attentive.
When you go out to eat and it's "ok"....because you can cook.....go to Marie's its amazing!!!!!!!
I grew up with Bosnians and hadn't had Cevapi in years, and Marie's did not disappoint. Very generous portions and absolutely delicious, could not recommend more.
