Scammers. Took my car in for an inspection. They told me I needed new brakes for $800. Decided to take it to dealer. Brakes are absolutely fine. Beware
Came in for an inspection with a crack in my windshield. I understand that this would result in a failed inspection, but I was not informed of that beforehand. Despite knowing the vehicle would fail regardless of whether emissions passed, they still proceeded with the inspection. It feels misleading to charge customers for a service when the outcome is already guaranteed. It makes me wonder how many other customers have paid for unnecessary work or services here.
I had a very disappointing experience at this mechanic shop and would strongly advise others to be cautious. I came in for a simple inspection and explained that upfront to the main mechanic. Before even properly checking the car, he looked at it from a distance and immediately said, “you still have to pay if it fails.” That already felt unprofessional and off-putting.
