Nice quality quilting cotton so I always end up spending more than I planned. The store is set back from transit and has more than enough parking right near the door. They have a decent amount of wide fabrics as well. I prefer one piece backing on my quilts so that's great for my needs. They are always willing to help if you need it.

Went in for the first time today to buy some embroidery hoops. The store was lovely. There was so much in the store, but it didn’t feel overcrowded. The inside was full of colourful fabric and thread and sewing/embroidery machines that were actually on display that you could touch and get a feel for - you don’t get that online. The staff were very helpful. I could have spent a good hour in there checking out everything.

I would give less than one star if I could. I have never had such a bad experience with a sewing center. The owners were very difficult and blamed everyone but themselves, all while holding onto a large amount of my money that they refused to give back. This was the worst 5 months. Be very careful purchasing from this shop.

I took my Pfaff Expressions to Marie's Sewing Center to be repaired. They charged me $150 before they even would even look at it. They had the machine for over 2 months. I brought the machine home and used it exactly 30 minutes before it started doing the same thing. If a machine is too old to be fixed they should say so and not charge $150 just to look at it. Sewing machine repair done in house, that's my kind of store. Had to travel a good distance but I feel confident my machine is in good hands.
