I’ve been going to Marie for a few years to get the same style. Occasionally something different (they never do it correctly other than knotless) and the last few times I visited I was met with different prices. I’d call- make an appt and ask for the prices over the phone. That is never the case when I get there . She picks and chooses when she wants to charge you more. This has been my go to spot since I moved to Plainfield. I had a new girl do my hair she was super sweet very accommodating and nice .

Honestly if I could give it a 0, I would. The service was HORRIBLE! I’m paying YOU to braid MY hair, AND YOU GOT AN ATTITUDE??!!!! Now don’t get me wrong my braids were cute, but I can get treated better at so many other braiding shops. They also tried to charge me $650 for some braids and this didn’t even include hair. Again, so many other braiding shops for cheaper, provide hair, and treat their customers well. Don’t go here.

If Mary had done my hair, it would have probably looked much better. Imagine getting your hair done and not one black person complimented you on how good it looked. It was ok but not good.
