I have been a patient of Dr. Steinmetz for 5 years. She cured a lifelong condition for me without pharmaceutical drugs. She believes in pharmaceuticals when appropriate but always starts with natural treatments. She is the perfect balance of Eastern & Western medicine. Even though I no longer live in the Wash DC area I still come back to see her once a year for my physical because I haven't found any doctor where I live that even comes close to her expertise.
Practioners in this practice treat patients the way medicine was designed to be practiced. They listen and try to uncover and treat the cause or causes of your condition with herbs and supplements first. Allowing your body to try and heal without toxic pharmaceuticals that only treat symptoms. They believe in Homeopathic treatments and so do I. Will never go anywhere else for my primary care.
