I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding Valleywise Health faciltiies expectation that patients must use their personal digital devices to receive test results and manage care through MyChart. While the facility expects patient-facing digital tools to be compliant with HIPAA regulations, forcing patients to rely on personal smartphones or computers creates an inherent and unavoidable privacy risk.
