Was there on a Saturday at opening time (8am) and I was very well treated. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. I think they get pretty busy fast but ar 8am, was seen at 8.10 and out before 8.30.
I had a really bad experience there tonight, and the bored teenager they had doing triage is genuinely going to kill someone if someone at that practice doesn't get a grip. He let me get out about two sentences, completely misunderstood what I was trying to tell him about the issue, shut me down and dismissed me, causing an otherwise avoidable trip to the hospital ER, and giving advice to wait and see a GP (because he had misunderstood) that was straight-up negligent in the circumstances.
Took my brand-new husband here after he decided to fight a stick… and lost. Yes, I was annoyed he stabbed himself in the eye, but wow am I grateful this place exists! We waited 2 hours, but honestly, one doctor, one nurse, a whole town’s worth of patients? They even paused for a lunch break, which I respect because my workplace protects my lunch like it’s a human right (as it should be). The nurse was clear and kind, and the doctor? Absolute legend. Vincent and Derek were the best. they took great care of me, explained everything in great detail and made me feel super comfortable. i cannot recommend these guys enough, they really went above and beyond to make sure i was well looked after :)
I was referred here by Footscray ED for a dislocated toe, stating the wait times would be shorter. We waited two and a half hours only to get seen and be told that they don't manage dislocations - nobody said this to me on arrival or at any stage in the two and a half hours we were waiting. The doctor took pity on me and put my toe back in place (thank you Dr Jasmeen).
