Was there on a Saturday at opening time (8am) and I was very well treated. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. I think they get pretty busy fast but ar 8am, was seen at 8.10 and out before 8.30.
Vincent and Derek were the best. they took great care of me, explained everything in great detail and made me feel super comfortable. i cannot recommend these guys enough, they really went above and beyond to make sure i was well looked after :)
I was referred here by Footscray ED for a dislocated toe, stating the wait times would be shorter. We waited two and a half hours only to get seen and be told that they don't manage dislocations - nobody said this to me on arrival or at any stage in the two and a half hours we were waiting. The doctor took pity on me and put my toe back in place (thank you Dr Jasmeen). I have visited MMUCC many times. My experiences in the past have been mixed. This time I was super impressed, as I rang to see if I had to book first and the Receptionist said no. It was quiet when I arrived but got super busy as time went on. I waited 1 hour but all honesty it was worth it. My experience with the Nurse and Dr Sameh Wanes was excellent. I booked an appointment to get my 1yr old seen for persistent vomiting after a bout of gastro. They called me twice before my appointment, first they asked if I could find a GP instead but it was a Sunday, then on the next call they said I should go into emergency. I was confused as to why they wouldn’t even see him. It wasn’t an emergency so I found a GP that had an appointment for the next day. Turns out it was an ear infection.
