It all started because a beautiful-eyed baby girl was born in Bellochi-Fano, Italy, in 1905. And the United States provided the opportunities that many countries do not. Our immigrants, with the desire to work hard and support their families, bring out the best people have to offer. I thank Maria and her family for offering their best, and for the legend she left behind.

My favorite!! – This place is my favorite italian restaurant in the area. The food is so good. The chicken parm is the best I have ever had in my life. The atmosphere is a bit dated, but the food more than makes up for it.
Great Place to eat/Chit Chat! – I found Maria's by accident one day about 5 years ago and have never ever stopped eating there. They have the best wait staff ever, the yummiest food and its so greatly priced its insane!!! You get great big portions, a delish Greek salad and out of there in no time! Maria's is Braintree's bestkept secret and to no fail, every time i have been there, day or night, the place is always filled with happy customers and laughing waitresses!
Pretty good – I went there for lunch today and found the food just OK. I had the fisherman's platter and ordered it with a salad instead of the onion rings and fries. The food was OK, but it came out so fast that I was in shock. I went into the restaurant at 12:00 and was out by 12:25.... perfect for lunch break. I found the bread they served before the meal to be of poor quality... they were basically those cheap sub rolls that one would get for cookouts or the like. If I go to an italian restaurant... it's nice to have a q... read more
was in for dinner last night , had a great meal . the chicken marsal was great and my wife loved her fishermans platter . first time there , wont be my last , great place to bring my kids as well . good prices and great food
bad taste in mouth – I went to Maria's today and had badd experience.. We ordered the dinner for 2. It comes with soup salad sausage, chicken cutlet, eggplant and manacotti. Everything was great until I bit into the manacotti and it was bad. We couldn't get the taste out of our mouths. The waitress came and took the dinner away and apologize. She told manager and he went to kitchen and came back out but never said anything to us. He should have offered us to come back again on the house at least.
GOOD FOOD GREAT PLACE – I HAVE BEEN COMING HERE FOR ABOUT 15 YEARS AND I LOVE THE FOOD. THE WAITSTAFF IS VERY NICE. SO ISN'T THE OWNERS SON ARTIE. THIS IS AN EXCELLENT PLACE TO EAT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE CHICKEN PARM! (BEST AROUND)
Just like Mama Mia used to make – THE beat Italian restaurant on the south shore. Great portions - not to much, not to little. You will never leave hungry. Reasonably priced, a wonderful place to meet your favorite meatball for lunch. My only critiscism is they try to squeeze to many tables in the dinning room. When it is crowded, I feel like I'm sitting with the folks at the the next table.
