On 03/18/26 at 9pm, I experienced very poor service that I kept getting angrier the more I spoke to primarily, the manager and employees there. I am writing this review because I am infuriated that Mariano's has bad service. They were very reluctant to help. We purchased 3 bags of macadamia nuts on sale. However, when we went home and tried it. It had a bad stench and it was obvious that it was toxic to eat. It had the worst fowl smell. I just really like the Mariano stores. Some are newer or better organized than others, but all offer so many options. There's fresh-baked, fresh-made; there's frozen; there's canned, refrigerated, pre-packaged, Kroger brand, name brand, locally sourced--lots and lots of choices. The produce section is great and even offers those spotted bananas that are the best for making banana bread.
