I'm a local, and I will never understand why everyone loves this place. Chocolate is low quality and just plain doesn't taste good. Go to Erie or Mentor (Stefanelli's, Romolo or Malley's) if you want good quality chocolate.
Bought clothes there, not inexpensive either. Last visit asked for a hanger and what a hassle, put on a hanger for me but no bag over it. I asked for a bag and was told u said no bag! Really!? Teach employees some manners, was treated rudely.
The staff were not very friendly at all! While shopping for fudge the lady behind the counter said “you don’t have to touch the glass” in very mean tone. And while checking out I was trying to make sure we didn’t have to pay for chocolates separate from the other merchandise so I asked everything at one register and she replied “yea, that’s how this works!” Honestly if I didn’t have my young child with me I would have put everything back and left. The other worker just seemed to be unconvinced by us being there.
