I only had a couple sessions with Marianne while living in Texas a few years ago, and I still carry things I learned in her office with me today. She is a very level-headed sounding board and helped me immensely.

Counseling can be an extremely daunting experience in itself, especially coupled with the many underlying reasons we show up. Marianne talks an excellent game. She knows all the right words to say to sound good. Unfortunately, she also believes in lying by omission. She spent months allowing me to believe she agreed with a major decision she later revealed she did not support. She allowed me to believe she supported me and believed in my experience, but later revealed she does not actually consider what I have experienced to be abuse.
