Marian Hospital This hospital is very bad and I would not recommend it at all. Santa Maria is a fairly large city and Marian is the only hospital. If you have a true emergency, then you don't have much choice to go anywhere but Marian. However, if you can wait for about 40 minutes, you should drive to San Luis Obispo. I have several complaints about Marian Medical Center. The first complaint is that they seem to "play favorites".
