My referral was sent months ago, after my gp and also I made many calls (all calls just put us on hold) the lady with the accent said we are not taking any referrals. When I asked did you not think to let someone know they simply said it’s not our job or problem an hung up.

My daughters referral was sent a month ago, after making endless call and resending referral was informed that the Dr in question is full and doesn't in fact check referrals once at compasity. Which is shady but understandable, what is not ok is the fact that ppl waiting are in need of help and aren't even given the respect to be notified that they won't be seen. Not even a call. Just waiting.

I don’t know how these receptionists have got their job. I’ve been hung up on countless times. The message bank is always full. The phone rings and rings and rings. I’ve even had to ring across the road to the hospital side to see WTH is going on. This is not an isolated incident. I almost expect it now.

Don't bother.... what a waste of time... 5 weeks ago my gp faxed a referral and I was told to wait 10 days for an answer... 10 days later I rang and was told they didn't receive my referral so I emailed it... 10 days later I rang and was told my referral wasn't accepted (with no explanation) but that it was sent to other psychiatrists.... 10 days later I rang and was told a psychiatrist will be with me soon... 5 days later... told to ring back.... 5 days later told to ring back.... the worst thing is the lack of information.... read more
