She treated me like I was seeking hard pain med when I never asked for pain medicine. She looked right at me and said I am not a pain doctor. I told her prednisone works well for me and she said I don't prescribe Prednisone. I left the office in tears.

I've only had good experiences with PCCC of Volusia for the most part and I have been seeing them for several years. Dr. Ailani is an excellent doctor, always 2 steps ahead and very efficient, always in there to see his patients even though ARNP's are also seeing the patients. Very positive. Since I've been with them, I've had mycobacterium avium complex (MAC) and sleep apnea successfully treated and now they are treating my pneumonia as well as continued treatment of my COPD. Do not see this guy! The office is an overcrowded zoo. He rushed through my appointment, barely listening to me and prescribed meds without explaining how to take them. I started calling the day of the appointment to get clarification about the meds and tests. They did not return my calls. After several calls, I did receive a message a WEEK later. I was diagnosed in 2021 and in the beginning the visits were every 6 months and then it became once a year. He has never run MRI’s on my spine and now I have multiple lesions on there. When asked if he was concerned he said “oh no you have no lesions on your spine. You’re doing great.” After not completely agreeing with him I looked into another option with an MS specialist who is very concerned with the situatio... read more

Dr Vintimilla is a very good doctor. She is kind and compassionate. She has managed my Sarcoidosis and other inflammatory and auto immune issues for the past 4+ years. She always listens to any problems or concerns I may have and does her best to come up with solutions. She is also very good about explaining things if you ask.
