Dr. Teaiwa-Rutherford is amazing! I had complete trust in her during my pregnancy. Delivery was smooth, could not have asked for a better doctor. Run - not walk - to her! Dr. Teaiwa is truly the best doctor I have ever had and probably ever will have. Words cannot express how much I recommend her and appreciate her. While I was pregnant, I transferred to become a patient of hers from out of state and had a number of questions… She called me at 7pm to discuss my concerns with me prior to even meeting me and while I lived across the country. So very disappointing, I will be extremely careful about who I move forward with medically. I was a patient of Dr Rutherford’s for almost 10 years, she was at Mt Sinai where the service was impeccable. I noticed once she moved over to Cornell she was rushed and began rushing our appointments, she was booked over a year in advance for simple appointments and her administrative staff is not kind or efficient. Dr. Teaiwa is amazing. I had been in search for an OB doctor who I felt comfortable with and after my first visit with her, I knew I wouldn’t see anyone else. The nurses at her office are nice and welcoming. Throughout my entire pregnancy she would answer all my questions with care and understanding. She was quick to respond to any messages I sent, and always communicated any procedures needing to occur.
