Dr. LePlante has been the best dermatologist I have ever been treated by. I have seen many over my 59 years, as well as taken my children to them. She is thorough, kind, listens to my concerns, and is proactive about my skin. I have recommended her to so many friends and family and they all hold her in the highest regard, as I do. I just hope she doesn’t get so busy that it gets harder to get an appointment with her.
She seemed almost nervous that I was asking lots of questions about different issues. She’s not Board Certified in Dermatology. It’s listed as an area of interest of hers. For my follow up she’s asked me to bring someone with me as a second set of ears as if I’m unable to remember what she says. I have absolutely no memory issues whatsoever. It’s a little insulting.
Dr. Laplante has treated me on several occasions for skin cancer removals, and both she and her assistant have been excellent at treating my condition. I have found them to be user friendly and personable as well as skilled. They are very busy.
Dr. Laplante was fine, not overly personable but took care of my pilar cyst so I’m happy with that. Most of the office staff were unfriendly and borderline rude with the exception of the check out lady with reddish short hair and the medical assistant, Brittany. I won’t be back unless I have another cyst that needs removal.
