She seemed almost nervous that I was asking lots of questions about different issues. She’s not Board Certified in Dermatology. It’s listed as an area of interest of hers. For my follow up she’s asked me to bring someone with me as a second set of ears as if I’m unable to remember what she says. I have absolutely no memory issues whatsoever. It’s a little insulting.
Dr. Laplante has treated me on several occasions for skin cancer removals, and both she and her assistant have been excellent at treating my condition. I have found them to be user friendly and personable as well as skilled. They are very busy.
Dr. Laplante was fine, not overly personable but took care of my pilar cyst so I’m happy with that. Most of the office staff were unfriendly and borderline rude with the exception of the check out lady with reddish short hair and the medical assistant, Brittany. I won’t be back unless I have another cyst that needs removal. I am very pleased so far with my experience with Dr Maria Laplante and her staff. She removed a squamous cell carcinoma from my arm. She was patient, attentive and didn't rush through the procedure. She answered all my questions in a thorough and compassionate manner. I felt very safe in her care.
