For over 22 years Dr. Maria I. Gonzalez-Bors has been my gynecologist and I have felt very confident in her service. She has been very truthful and more than a doctor, a friend. I thank God for Dr. Gonzalez-Bors!
dr bors delivered all three of my kids. i have seen her for 24+ years. there is nothing she has ever done to make me feel she needed to do more. she is not a game player. i have had the same pediatrician for 24+ years as well. they both take care of business when it needs to be taken care of. everytime. if they cant do it they get the best person for me. im not looking for someone to baby me, make me feel like im at a spa or nurture me and my children, they just need to care enough to take care as best they can and make the ... read more

I saw her in February of 2013. First, she came about 45 minutes late and said why are we here? She proceeds with the annual exam. She did not use any lubricant at all which was disconcerting. That was disappointing. I'm accustomed to the doctors using lubrication before the procedures. They she said out loud, not sure if this was rhetorical or not, but she said "Ugh, Why is your vagina so long" That was mortifying. I didn't know how to respond. i have a miscarriege a couple of weeks ago, she was very cold and not sensitive with me. she doesn't have a lot of knowledge in so many areas. i don't like her as a doctor, she never answer the questions that i have.
I have been seeing Dr. Bors for many years. I have always been seen on my appointment time, never late. I wish she were more knowledgeable in certain areas. I find her very pleasant.

I will not be going back to Dr. Bors. She was less than sympathetic when I had a miscarriage last summer and acted as if it was no big deal - like these things "just happen". I realize that they do just happen but it didn't help me feel any better - I thought she was very cold.
