I had a very mixed experience at the NICU today Wednesday morning. While the medical staff and doctors were wonderful and treated us well, the experience was severely tarnished by the receptionist working at the NICU the front desk. Hospitals are places where people come during their most vulnerable moments, often in significant pain or worried about loved ones. Unfortunately, this staff member (its a shame I didn't get her name) was dismissive and lacked the basic compassion and kindness required for this role. It is disap... read more

Would never go back to this place. Took my daughter in this morning for an x-ray. A few staff members were nice , particularly in admitting, other than that the staff was rude and didn’t have strong bedside manner. My daughter was given crutches and the nurse told us she didn’t know how to teach us to use them. I asked the doctor to please provide a note that my daughter needed to wear supportive shoes at school (uniform school). I was told it was in the discharge paperwork. Got home to look through it and no note was there.... read more

My son is an oncology patient under the care of the oncology group affiliated with this hospital. Unfortunately, our repeated experiences in the ER and now during a 5-day inpatient stay have been extremely disappointing. Each ER visit has lasted 6–7+ hours, which is especially difficult for an immunocompromised oncology child. Communication has been poor. We are often seen primarily by residents, and attending physicians are difficult to reach for clear answers. Parents are not consistently kept informed about care decisions... read more

No Happy at all with the attention in the ER. Came in with diagnosis from another hospital and still had to wait hours for a nurse to give me the medicine for the nebulizer to do it myself on baby. After that hours just waiting without knowing if another treatment was going to be given or what was going to happen. Came to fine out baby was on observation for 4 hours to see if another treatment was needed, without knowing. So simple to provide a good care by at least stating to patients what is going to be done and how so the... read more

Nice Hospitol but the staff in recovery very inconsiderate. Very loud laughing like chickens discusting. My daughter was trying to rest and couldn’t she kept jumping out her sleep. They all hanging around like they are at an after work bar laughing and that should not be. Not in this environment right after a kid is trying to rest after surgery. But if it were they kid they probably wouldn’t like that.
