Negligent resident Dr. Patricia Pleta ordered saline IV fluid for my 2 month old son instead of dextrose for a 9 hour fast that was supposed to be 4 hours. This is the day after he just finished a 16 hour fast that was supposed to be 12 hours for a liver biopsy. The state of the room for an unvaccinated baby was also just deplorable. This hospital maybe have access to all these amazing equipment and attending but they lack in soooo many other departments. My 2-year-old granddaughter was admitted to Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital in critical condition. Within hours, the doctors accurately diagnosed her with cancer and she received 33 days of full-time in-patient care. The oncology team was incredible—compassionate, responsive, and clear in explaining every step of the treatment plan. The nurses were equally amazing! Great hospital needs work on communication.
Every time we come here (my 2 month old has a congenital heart defect) we are treated with such kindness and care. This past Monday (6/9/25) we had 1 of 2 major surgeries to make his life better and the surgen Dr. Essa really made us feel comfortable leaving him in their care. We are still on the road to recovery but my son already looks so much happier and is breathing and eating better. I want to thank his whole team from the bottom of my heart.
I was racially profiled and WRONGFULLY accused of abusing my son lol... these ppl are DISGUSTING... don't bring ur kids here
