She was kind enough to take over from another provider, and our appointment ran very smoothly. I was very disappointed with my experience with Dr. Sophocles. I scheduled the appointment specifically for a menopause-focused consultation and was hopeful going in. While the visit was lengthy, I did not feel that the discussion or options presented were tailored to my actual concerns or medical history. Given my known diagnosis of atypical ductal hyperplasia (ADH), hormone therapy was not an appropriate option for me and that was ok. She wasn't the first doctor to tell me that.
