Dr. Sophocles is the only healthcare provider I have encountered with menopause expertise. She is compassionate, listens to all my symptoms and provides many treatment options and without making me feel overwhelmed. Her staff is friendly and the new office feels very relaxed and welcoming. It feels so hopeful to be heard and provided so much support and treatment that is made just for me.
I was very disappointed with my experience with Dr. Sophocles. I scheduled the appointment specifically for a menopause-focused consultation and was hopeful going in. While the visit was lengthy, I did not feel that the discussion or options presented were tailored to my actual concerns or medical history. Given my known diagnosis of atypical ductal hyperplasia (ADH), hormone therapy was not an appropriate option for me and that was ok. She wasn't the first doctor to tell me that.
