I first started going to here after I was recommended by my sister in law. But once I started seeing her I was very unhappy. I felt pressured into test and medications on multiple occasions, even though I made it very clear that I did not want them. When I refused to do an internal ultrasound and requested an external ultrasound instead, I was mocked by the staff for being a “virgin”. Dr. Reid is the absolutely best doctor we could have asked for for our labor and delivery journey. The reason we initially chose Axia Women's Health for our provider was because of her bio on their website, and to say she exceeded that is an understatement. My wife had a long, intense labor that came early and with a few 'complications' that we were not expecting. Dr. Reid counseled us through them perfectly and helped us navigate our first child-birthing experience with the utmost respect, patience, and personal-touch. She ... read more

My appt was at 10:40. I got to the office early and didn’t leave until almost 1:00. What really bothered me was that it seemed like Dr.Reid could care less about having me wait so long. To be honest by the time she got to me I was just ready to leave. So I really just wanted her to check on baby and let me go. Which is exactly what she did. Dr. Maria Reid….WORST ob/gyn I have ever encountered and this is my 4th pregnancy. HORRIBLE BEDSIDE MANNER. BEWARE. I am a NICU NURSE, going to school for my FNP, and work nights, so I am very busy. I made an appointment for after work. I waited in the waiting room for 30 minutes before they finally brought me back where I waited for an additional 40 minutes for Dr. Reid to come to work.
