Margurite was hired to draw up plans for some gardens on my property, but, after paying for the plans, I did not end up going forward with her as the gardener. I found working with her to be unpleasant and difficult, in part, due to her gratuitous peppery comments degrading Americans or American habits in contrast to Europeans.
