Pictures do not do this place justice. We were so pleased with everything this place had to offer that we are already planning our next trip back! We unfortunately didn’t see burrito (it was pretty hot when we went) but we had the sweetest welcomer when we arrived! I was so surprised to see the heart of petals on the bed and it added such a loving and thoughtful touch, we appreciated it so much. We were looking for the perfect mommy and daddy getaway and this place was everything we could’ve hoped for!
The cabin is so cute and the decor is so fun. It was perfect for our family of 6 adults. There was plenty of room for everyone. We had fun making s’mores at the fire pit, grilling out, watching the fish and turtles swimming in the lake. MargieB’s is a great place to stay and Tasha and Jerome are perfect hosts.
My husband, son and the couple we travelled with enjoyed Margie B’s cabin. It’s overlooking a beautiful lake and has a greta hot tub and firepit. The host was so kind and thoughtful. Very easy to communicate with. We loved the cabin and decor in it. Will definitely be using this place in the future.
Perfect place for a quiet weekend away. The personal touches throughout this home make all the difference.
I cannot say enough about this AMAZING house and host! This was the absolute perfect place to spend several days and nights while taking in the most beautiful parts Southern Illinois. The proximity to Shawnee National Forest, Giant City State Park, and SIUC is ideal. The house is a real treasure and our kids did not want to leave. We cannot wait to go back again!
