I bought 2 dozen Margaret River Free Range eggs from the supermarket and they both had plenty of time before the Best Before (Use-By) date was reached. The next day I went to boil some and as usual I did the float test - which is a good way to determine if the egg or eggs is/are old or off. Older eggs develop more gas and this increases the size of the air sac causing them to float.
