Dr. Margaret Burks is an excellent endocrinologist. She has a warm personality, listens well, and thoughtfully responds. Your medical decisions can be a team effort that includes you, if you wish. I highly recommend Dr. Burks.
Tried to get an appointment with Dr Burks today. Even though insurance is PPO and I do not need a referral from a primary care dr, BSW is requiring me to see another dr in their network before I can even get an appointment with Dr. Burk. I have heard great things about Dr. Burk but I am very disappointed to be given so many obstacles before seeing her.
Dr. Burks is always very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in keeping my blood sugar controlled. She is very thorough and takes time explaining any necessary changes. I highly recommend her to anyone needing expert advice and support with their diabetes and other related issues.
