They literally sent 50 bucks to debt collectors they are so unethical. It’s for missing an appointment. Until you can prove you weren’t double booked and that every single appointment occurred the exact second they were meant to that day and that you didn’t breach a verbal contract for appointment time than you will lose. I had a very disappointing experience with this office. I scheduled my appointment over a month in advance and completed all required paperwork online, as instructed. On the day of my appointment, I called at 2:31 PM to let them know I’d be there at 2:40, just 10 minutes late for my 2:30 appointment. They were not understanding of me missing an appointment due to emergency sickness and have literally sent the $50 to collections. They always make me wait so I won’t miss the place. They don’t take Medicaid and are overpriced, they literally send their bloodwork/specimens to a third party for no reason for it just to get forwarded to LabCorp and you pay extra for that. This practice is incredibly unorganized and it is unacceptable. The front office is completely clueless about even the simplest inquiries. For four weeks straight, I’ve been trying to get a referral that I had discussed with Dr. Astrid Von Walter for continuity of care. The front desk keeps sending me on a wild goose chase for something as simple as a referral that my doctor is aware of. They told me it would be posted on my online portal and it never happened. The staff was polite, but I had to wait over an hour past my appointment time and wasn’t able to see the doctor. I understand delays happen, but there was little communication about the wait. Better scheduling or updates would really improve the experience.
