Dr. Crook took a lot of time during my recent visit to hear my concerns.
I started seeing Dr. Crook about 5 years ago. I was very sick when I started seeing her. I am still very sick and nothing except normal bloodwork is ever done. I really wanted to like this practice bc Dr. Is very nice. Unfortunately, I haven't been taken seriously on my symptoms. All that is ever said when I mention my ongoing symptoms is to quit eating junk food. No one ever asked what I eat Fast forward to present. Although I have always been happy with Dr. Crook's care, there seems to be a disconnect with Sentara's My Chart Portal. After completing 2 different tests ordered, I was never called by her office but rather received a call from the hospital scheduling with no explanation of why the treatment had been ordered. When I called the office to ask why I hadn't first heard from Dr. Crook by phone or by My Chart message, I was told...we are too busy. Not what any patient wants to hear.
