Dr. Van Meter was wonderful. She took the time to explain the PetScan and show me the images. She explained a range of next steps being careful to acknowledge that more information was needed.
I’ve been seeing Van Meter for almost 5 years now since my breast cancer diagnosis at age 30. She is very knowledgeable and detailed making sure to check on things that may be concerning. I appreciate that she thinks of my personal life beyond cancer treatment and encouraged me to take a break from tamoxifen at the right time to be able to start a family. I feel lucky to have had Van Meter through my breast cancer diagnosis and would recommend her to friends and family.
