I found Dr Baran through my health insurance and found her to be one of the best PCP's that I have had for a long time. She asks a lot of questions and really spends the time to understand your medical needs. She will make sure that you are connected with other specialty doctors if needed.
Hi there! Good news and bad news about Dr. Margaret Baran. Yes!!! She has conflicts with scheduling. In my experience, once she gets to know her patients, some need a little more time and patience than others. As an example; when it comes to my medical needs, I have experienced both. One of the worst PCPs I have ever had the misfortune of seeing. To sum up Dr. Baran succinctly, she is condescending, invasive, and impractical. I switched to her after my initial PCP left her practice and finding a doctor in Stamford is challenging. I stayed with her due to convenience but had enough after a year. She required multiple visits to manage medications prescribed years prior to my seeing her by specialists. If she had any concerns, she should have referred me out.
