Great atmosphere, great service and the food had a beautiful presentation.
First time. Went with chicken fried steak. It's Texas, it's in their name. It was a modest portion. Gravey was good. Fries? (Mashed potatoes needed) I opted for a Smashed version. Not even close to good. Got an $8 side of brussel sprouts. Just ok. Could use balsamic vinegar or a little spice or both. I sat in the bar area. The wall of locked locker cabinets behind the bar is not attractive and probably contributes to the loud volume of voices reflecting off. Just moved to town. Wanted to find a place for lunch .Glad we stumbled upon Marfa. One, the vibes are totally on par with the aesthetic of Marfa Tx art district very art chic. The food is amazing ample.portions and service was great..A manager came, greeted us and gave us menu suggestions..my mock tail was fantastic. Will be back.. Thanks
