The shortage of staff at Mareeba hospital, can be felt. I got an, amazing Dr and the nursing staff were wonderful. As for A&E, they were fast at getting me seen, and were so lovely and caring. Thank you all, for your compassion. I appreciate it...
Helicopter pad car park was really good for cooking my rock wallaby, until someone selfish hurt themselves and had to be airlifted to hospital
Sat in emergency two hours unable to breath while 2 doctors talked about their jetski. Then a women walks in says her baby won't sleep and goes straight in .walks out about 10 mins later with her free panadol and we still waited another hour .apparently the nurse forget to log us on to be seen. Very bad form for a hospital. If I didn't walk up to the desk I'd still be sitting there. Mind you we went at 1am so only one person was waiting and Noone out the back .
Had a very warm welcome this morning. Only waited about 15 mins. Followed by a very thorough examination by Dr Shelly . Then prompt XRay and CT scan And given results within 15imins. All together a total of about 1 and half hours.. warm blanket as well. Very impressed 👏.
