I guess I won’t come to Marea again.... everything is wrong soooo farrrr... I sat down 1230 by myself at this Michelin 2 starred Italian seafood restaurant, Marea, and ordered 5 courses tasting menu with wine pairing ( not cheap huh ). Everything is wrong since then They served the bread in cold - fine. I asked for olive oil and vinegar - it takes 20 mins after I finished my main course - fine Then I dip my bread in vinegar, I can’t believe there’s fish scale in the vinegar from my mouth 😱😱that’s NOT fine .... Amazing service and very good food
Marea has become my favorite restaurant in NYC. We have eaten at many fine spots but this one is memorable
We were here a few times but for some reason food was exceptionally good today. From the start to the end. Service was good. We usually came later time in the past but we reserved 5:45 pm seating this evening. We also told receptionist that we are not having pre-theatre dinner. By the time we were done a little after 7: 15-20, they seemed rushing us out. Check came before I asked which never happened before. That was a little unpleasant.
