In the urgent situation, the staffs made an appointment with a nurse showing the nurse is a doctor. In the office visit, the nurse (pretended as a doctor in the reservation) didn't know what to do, and she didn't have any knowledge on the situation. Total waste of money and time. Quite dishonest way of collecting patient and taking fees.

I scheduled the appointment with Dr. Marcus but they scheduled with Caroline (on purpose because Dr. Marcus only does procedures and was not disclosed when scheduling). I did not find this out until you I got the link one day prior to my appointment . I tried to reschedule with Dr. Marcus and was told he only does procedures and doesn’t see patients. Dr. Marcus was referred to me by another doctor in my town. I made a phone call and had a zoom appointment all in the same day. Within one day we had decided the best game plan and I have an appointment in one week. I will update my review after my procedure. I felt the need to post a review in my shock of great service. He's not only professional but he is also quick, personable and obviously knows his business well. Super secure feeling here and so happy.

Most terrible experience, very disorganized, no follow up, any questions they refer you to someone else. They ask you to come in early and then are late and when you voice frustration they take it personally. I would AVOID this place at any cost!

Almost ten years ago, after seeing several other prominent gastroenterologists in Palo Alto who thought I was a little crazy, Dr. Marcus listened to my story, looked at my test results and knew immediately what the problem might be. Two months later I received surgery and have been well ever since. I have had three endoscopies and three colonoscopies and would never go anywhere else. Dr Marcus sees one patient at a time and gives each the time he and they need regardless of the clock.

Dr Marcus although a sweet kind man can be hurtful with words sometimes. He doesn't really understand that people with diseases like Crohns and UC aren't always rich or full of reasources so he demand unrealistic goals from you. From going to hospitals on a hope they will do surgery, and gets upset when a surgery can't be confirmed so you have to put work first. That would me one issue as he is working he is paid we aren't working we are trying to survive. Also appointments require a long wait.

Wonderful experience! Appointment was made without issue - they followed up to confirm the date. Efficient front office. They ran on time and processed me quickly. I was called in before I could even finish my forms. Incredible consultation with Dr. Marcus' PA prior to procedure - she was very thorough and didn't miss a thing. I'm impressed and glad I've switched GI physicians. Highly recommend. Will update after my procedure.

I was required by the receptionist to make an appointment to see Dr. Marcus for the first time prior to colonoscopy. When I arrived at the office, I had a consultation with his staff instead (without prior knowledge), and was charged as if I had seen the physician. In my personal opinion, the consultation is unnecessary and a waste of money. I then had the colonoscopy done by a renowned gastroenterologist without requiring a consultation prior to the procedure.
