One of the most arrogant, condescending individuals we have ever encountered in the medical field! I hesitate to call him doctor! Fortunate for us we found a good oncologist elsewhere!
Because of this man and his willingness to explore additional treatments above the “standards” set by the Mayo, I have the privilege to continue having my wife by my side each day. Without a doubt, the swift actions by Dr. Newberry and the entire team of physicians and nurses, are what said my wife from the cancer taking her. In April when I called Dr. Newberry's office--twice--no one answered so I left a voicemail message both times stating that my husband wasn't doing well and asking for a call back sooner rather than later. He, nor anyone on his staff, ever returned my calls. We only met with Dr. Newberry once, so we don't know him well enough to rate him as a doctor, but somebody dropped the ball on this one. Inexcusable.
