I usually love Marcos Pizza! I love Margherita pizza! The Margherita Magnifico from Marco’s was not good at all! It was nothing more than a cheese pizza with very little tomato and very little basil. Delivery driver was 13 minutes late and the pizza was luke warm at best probably added to my disappointment. I’ll still order from Marco’s on Tuesday’s for BOGO, but I’ll get my Margherita pizzas from HEB.
The staff and delivery drivers are always amazing and the pizza is good. So why the low review? One of the things that attracted me to Marco’s was their great deals and rewards but lately I’ve noticed that those deals are going downhill. The two medium pizza deals for like $11.99 are gone. After earning enough reward points instead of a $10 off coupon you only get $5. This leaves me feeling that we were just getting lured in only to have it gradually taken away. Well, it's not very often we order out. And Marco's is our pizza to get. We ordered nothing special for a family of 4. I have 3 issues. 1st, it was 34 minutes past the estimated delivery time. I could understand 5-10 minutes late, but 34 minutes? 2nd, I ordered mushrooms on my pizza. Didn't get it. 3rd, my pizza was cold. She did offer a 20% on my next order. The supreme pizza was so good! I loved the crust! The best pizza crust I've ever eaten. I will be ordering again.
What a complete waste of my time tonight. I placed my order at 8:49 PM and waited the 20 minutes indicated for pickup. I then received an email confirmation stating that my order was ready. When I arrived at the store, I was told that my order hadn’t even been started. I was assured it would take no more than 15 minutes, so I took a seat and waited.
