I consulted with Dr. Dotti about some chronic pain as well as looking for options to help with my siezures. He ordered an EMG and after resulting in being negative he automatically jumped to the conclusion of my sypmtoms being somatic. Even though I was open the possibility and wanting to work with him to look into it more, he became dismissive and didn't even suggest a psychiatric doctor until I asked for one. I thought Dr Dottie took his time answering all my questions and was very interested in my medical condition. He was very pleasant and I would recommend him to anyone.
I would not recommend this provider to anyone. He didn't read any of the patient records prior to seeing the patient (wasted patient's time). Prescribed patient an anti-seziure medication with the known side effects of increasing suicidal thoughts. This patient has already had experience with suidical thoughts and yet wanted him on this medication. NOT HAPPENING!!! This appointment was for a clearance to perform a surgery and all he did was prescribe meds. Never again going back.
